Early Childhood Teacher

Do you hold or are you currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education OR Early Childhood & Primary) and looking for a great start or a new opportunity to shine? Essential Criteria:

  • First Aid Certificate and CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (ACECQA approved).

  • Hold an APPROVED Working With Children Check. 

  • Hold a current certificate in Child Protection Training (ACECQA approved).

  • Previous experience in educating and caring for children in a regulated early childhood education and care service for a minimum of one year (full-time) as a qualified ECEC Certificate III (ACECQA approved qualification).

  • Readily able to lead and develop a team of passionate educators to deliver a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum and outcomes for each child in your room.

  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standards and National Regulations, including the ability to apply related outcomes, principles and practices into your pedagogy to create a secure and stimulating learning environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to form and maintain professional, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

  • Proven skills in documenting children's learning.

  • Commitment to your professional development.

Desirable attributes:

  • Experience in leadership and mentoring others in a positive, affirming and collaborative manner.


Salary offered: Child Care Group Leader & Qualified Teacher, $73,150 plus super.
Hours: Full time (40-hour week) with 1 Rostered Day Off (RDO) a month.
Note: All work agreements including terms and conditions of employment follow the Children’s Services Award or Educational Services (Teachers) award at current. Conditions are underpinned by the National Employment Standards detailed in the Fair Work Act.
